Wait, Cardi B’s Been Secretly Married For How Long?!

Could Cardi B, who has lived in the limelight for the past year, have gotten married without anyone noticing? According to one report from TMZ, it looks like there’s a pretty big chance that she’s actually been married to Offset for an entire year.

TMZ did some digging and found a marriage certificate from Fulton County, Georgia, for Kiari Kendrell Cephus (Offset) and Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar (Cardi B). The certificate claimed the two had gotten married on September 20, 2017.

There was some speculation that the two had tied the knot after Offset thanked his “wife” at the BET Awards, but I don’t think anyone expected that they’d been officially married for that long. Let’s just say we are SHOOK.

Offset publicly proposed to Cardi at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia on October 27, just a month before the two allegedly made it official. And if it IS true, then the two of them have been on lockdown about their arrangement ever since, making their marriage much more private than their proposal was.

The couple is expecting their first child, a baby girl, in July. I’m sending all my positive vibes to the new family.
