Your Love Brought Light To My World

They say people come and go in life, and you may be gone from my world now, but I want you to always remember there is someone who sees you as more beautiful than anything in the universe.

And that’s me. It will always be me.

Because what you gave me is more than the usual. It was more than I could have ever imagined. You let me see the light in the darkness and the future beyond the horizon. With you, I saw the changing directions of the winds, the way the water flows, the singing birds and the way the rain kisses my skin.

I feel it. I see it. I hear it.
And It’s because of you.

You make me notice everything.

You make me feel like I’m more than just a human being breathing the same air you breathe.

You make me realize that we all have a storm inside in our chests and we are all survivors of our own battles, but we choose happiness over grief. We still choose love, even though most of the time it’s the reason why we hurt.

But you made me believe that love is the only thing we seek and we live for.

That’s why, even though you’re gone now and even though it sucks to be here all alone, I’m still thankful because you made me feel celestial. This perpetual bliss you brought to me will be forever be etched in my heart and mind.

So to my incandescent, incredible love, thank you for choosing to glow despite the abomination I showed you. Thank you for believing in me and thank you for sharing me your glow. I will light the world one day and I will owe it to you, because no one has deserve it but you.
