Trump’s lawyers and family have been able to keep him off of Twitter but the same can’t be said for Donald Trump Jr. who has been live-tweeting the event.

1. You never know how to answer the question “where are you from?”.

Uh, what exactly do you mean by that? Are you looking at my name and recognizing it as foreign and wondering which country my family comes from? Are you asking where I was born? Are you asking where I grew up? Because all of those places are different. Third culture kids routinely stumble over this question.

In public situations, you like to bring headphones and/or a book with you so people don’t try to engage in conversation with you. You just wanna chill during your flight, not talk to your seat mate about their hopes and dreams.

It’s been a year since I found out I didn’t have cancer anymore. And in that year, there have been beautiful days and anxious days and everything in between. Right now, I’m just feeling lucky that I get to live them at all.
