Erykah Badu’s “Tyrone” (1997) is a good friend of the unnamed man with whom Erykah is in a failing relationship. Every time she asks him for a little cash, he says no and turns right around and asks her for some ass. I’m not making this up; it’s in the lyrics. Anyways, she eventually tells him to call up Tyrone, so he can help him get his shit, meaning she’s breaking up with him. Erykah Badu is an extremely sexy and talented woman, and deserves much more than this stingy jackass. I hope Tyrone has a long couch, as this dude seems huge. I wish I told my ex to call up her friend, instead of just crying.
