Gay sons! Infidelity! Mid-life crises! Dear God, the trailer for the new family dramedy, Every Day, was almost too much to endure! In this rendition of “Modern Families With Modern Probs”, Liev Schrieber plays Ned, a TV writer with a beautiful wife (Helen Hunt) and a son who’s channeling Velvet Goldmine (Ezra Miller). On paper, Ned appears to have the perfect family and the perfect job, but wait, there’s a twist! He’s actually unhappy. We don’t really know why but It’s all terribly sad and unheard of nonetheless. Maybe, just maybe, he’ll realize how blessed he is and get over this weird mid-life crisis thing. We can only hope.
