You’re not perfect. You have flaws and faults like everyone else but you are perfect for me.

You were the one thing in life that I knew about.

Love isn’t perfect. Love gets difficult sometimes and there are rough patches you have to stick it out and work through it. 

It’s like you’re still here with me sometimes, floating in my head and your voice seems so loud in my ears. I love it. It makes the memories replaying in my head more vivid, more real.

In the words of Frank Ocean: “‘I Trust you’ is better than ‘I love you because you may not always trust the person you love but you can always love the people you trust.”

Focus on being progressive and not regressive. Life is about moving forward and not letting anything keep you from doing so.

I know you loved me the way I love you. You just couldn’t take the pressure and the problems and that’s not okay

I was too focused on work and no play that I stopped finding music that made me feel something, I stopped reading poetry. I had put writing on hold. I tried to write, I truly did, but it was just emotionless and no one could relate.

The only way to live life is to truly give no fucks about what anyone has to say about it.
