I love the way you fidget when I’m near you because I make you nervous. I love the way you’d constantly lock your eyes with mine. I love how your eyes search for mine even when there are hundreds of other eyes around you.
My body longs for what even I don’t understand. Images and dreams flaunt my head.
All of my greatest memories involve a meal, whether it is simple or extravagant, shared with the people whom I love.
If you pay your dues, work towards your responsibilities, and do what you need to do to keep life going, will time reward you eventually? Will you then be able to live your dream and do the things that you are passionate about?
For me, the collateral beauty after my tragedy has been my journey in finding the light in the darkest of times and the acceptance that some things are beyond our understanding.
Oftentimes the relationships that we have can either make life a beautiful journey or make the road we travel very unpleasant and stressful.
I have learned that by frequently judging and criticizing others, you are actually destroying your own path toward happiness.
As difficult as it may be, even in the midst of uncertainty, it is important to try and envision a future with all its possibilities, as this will go a long way in keeping hope and positivity alive.
It is unbearably tough to pull ourselves out of this pain, frustration, and fear. But right now, as difficult as it may seem, our only hope for moving on from here is to not lose hope.
