She is careful about who she dates because she does not want to waste her time. She has standards and sticks to them. 

You know they aren’t going to run away when things get difficult.

She doesn’t want to get excited about spending her time with someone. She doesn’t want to get attached to them in case they leave.

I am proud of you for putting yourself first for a change. I am proud of you for getting the hell out of there, because I know it was hard.

I have grown up a lot since I’ve met you — but you have stayed the same exact person. If anything, you have gotten worse. Even more immature.

I’m not interested in hanging out and seeing where things go. I’m interested in something serious. Something that has the potential to last a lifetime. 

You should feel like nothing bad is going to happen as long as you are together.

I say things without thinking. I cry easily. I scream easily. I’ve been around toxic people for so long that I have forgotten how to act human. I don’t realize I am being unreasonable until it’s too late.
