I will continue on in life knowing there was a reason we ended. Why we stopped talking. Why I lost someone so important in my life.
You don’t lose yourself overnight. You lose yourselves in pieces.
It may sound dramatic, but I was obsessed. Every day that would be my first thought when I woke up.
Please remember. And I will say, this is what I take to be the most important thing I will ever tell you.
Self-love is hard, but you are your own anchor. And you, only you, have the ability to stay grounded.
Tell me the truth, was this your plan all along? To hook me in? To get me where you wanted, knowing fully well you would never have me?
Healing from trauma is realizing that you aren’t the same person. There is the “old, before trauma” you – and the “new” you.
You promise that you’re going to spend less time on your phone, less time snap chatting, on social media. But truth is, you can’t.
Alpha personalities never stop. They can and will not understand lazy, unmotivated people.
